Maria Carmen HuertaGraveside Mass for Maria Carmen Huerta, 42, of Kilgore, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the Kilgore Baptist Cemetery with Father Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Victory Funeral Services.Maria was born to the parentage of Miguel and Maria Ferrusquia Huerta on Saturday, November 12, 1977 in LaNoria Guanajuato, Mexico. She departed this life Friday, April 10, 2020 at her brother’s residence.During her youth she attended schools in LaNoria Guanajato prior to moving to Kilgore, Texas.Upon her relocation she worked as a private babysitter. When not working she lived a free spirited life of caring for and loving her family. One of her favorite pastimes was helping take care of cows, since she loved animals.  She was a very special beautiful lady; inside and out. Maria was the fun loving, caring, and giving person who knew no strangers. Her big heart kept her helping where help was needed. It didn't matter if it was a difficult task, she would still try. She loved being around her friends and family. Her passion for dancing was unmatchable. Her love for the Lord is what enabled her and also got her through her illness.Her parents and her son, Ismael Valverde all preceded her in death.She remains in the hearts of her siblings, her sisters and their spouses, Sara Huerta and Jesus Rojas, Delfina Huerta and Herminio Lopez, and Lupita Huerta all of La Noria Guanajuato, Mexico and Yolanda Huerta and Orvil Govea, Rosa Moreno and Serafin Moreno, and Maria Elena Huerta all of Kilgore, TX; and Estela Jamaica and Andres Jamaica from Dallas, TX; brothers and their spouses, Rojelio Huerta and Margarita Huerta, Faustino Huerta and Maria Del Rosario Cisneros, Porfirio Huerta and Catarina Huerta, Lino Huerta and Jacinta Huerta, Chirrion Huerta and Elvira Huerta, and Miguel Huerta all of Kilgore, TX; family and friends from Mississippi; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be done via drive-thru or exterior walk-up viewing on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Victory Funeral Services.
